Join Rick on a funny and heartfelt journey through childhood and into territory he has never experienced before: fatherhood. Revisiting memories of growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Rick embraces life's highs and lows while confronting the anger and abandonment created by growing up without his father. Through colorful characters, original music, heartfelt storytelling, poetry, honesty, vulnerability, and humor, Rick transforms painful memories into a roller coaster of emotion and laughter. The show explores universal themes of fatherhood, abandonment, childhood trauma, adulthood, healing, and the possibility of breaking cycles while inviting audiences to reflect, relate, connect, and, as the title promises, laugh a little.
